Karim Benzema could be set to call time on his legendary Real Madrid career.

After more than a decade in the Spanish capital, the 35-year-old French forward is considering his future after receiving a lucrative offer to play in Saudi Arabia, reports Julien Laurens of ESPN.

In January, Benzema reportedly received the same two-year, €400-million deal that former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo signed with Al-Nassr late last year.

Benzema, who was reportedly close to signing an extension with Real Madrid earlier this season, won the 2022 Ballon d'Or award in October. However, he struggled to repeat his success from the 2021-22 campaign due to numerous injuries that interrupted his season and forced him to miss the 2022 World Cup.

Los Blancos endured a disappointing season, finishing second behind rivals Barcelona in La Liga and losing in the Champions League semifinals to Manchester City.

Benzema joined Real Madrid from Lyon in 2009. He's the second-highest scorer in club history after passing legendary striker Raul earlier this season.

Former Barcelona stars Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba have also reportedly been approached to play in Saudi Arabia.
