Barcelona general manager Pep Segura has denied the club is shopping struggling winger Ousmane Dembele amid reports of interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.

Segura admitted to meeting with Dembele's agent, Moussa Sissoko, earlier in the week but said it had nothing to do with speculation linking the French international to a January exit.

"Yes, we had a meeting. Like yesterday, when I met up with three other representatives. It's normal, it forms part of my job," he told Cadena SER, Ben Hayward of the Evening Standard reports.

"If you have information from the English press, ask the English press!" Segura added. "If you have information from Liverpool, ask Liverpool! There has been nothing (no offers) for Dembele and we have no desire to change the structure of the squad."

Linked with a move to the Premier League, Dembele has become a common subject of transfer speculation following an absence from training and alleged character issues that include breaking club rules, according to Hayward.

French national team boss Didier Deschamps admitted that Dembele has a penchant for being late, according to Diario AS, adding that the Rennes academy product must improve his attitude to succeed both with the World Cup holders and Barcelona.

Dembele, 21, has appeared in all but one of Barcelona's league matches this season - starting on seven occasions - along with two appearances in the Champions League. In his second full season at the club following a €105-million move from Borussia Dortmund, the pacey winger has registered five goals in all competitions after his debut campaign in the Catalan capital was marred by a hamstring tear.
