Kevin De Bruyne torched Wolverhampton Wanderers with a 24-minute hat-trick Wednesday as Manchester City romped to a 5-1 victory at Molineux.

The Belgian also scored City's fourth goal, making him just the third midfielder to record a four-goal haul in the Premier League after Frank Lampard (2008 and 2010) and Georginio Wijnaldum (2015).

De Bruyne scored each of his first three goals using his weaker left foot, with the pick of the bunch being the strike to complete his treble. He powered past Ruben Neves before charging toward the edge of the area, where he unleashed an unstoppable missile into Jose Sa's bottom corner.

The 30-year-old has now scored 15 Premier League goals this season. De Bruyne's notched two more goals than Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane while establishing himself as City's top scorer in England's top tier.
