Erling Haaland is off the market - for now.

Borussia Dortmund won't accept any offers for the 20-year-old phenom this summer, BBC Sport's Simon Stone reports.

Chelsea and Manchester City continue to be linked with Haaland despite the German side's reported stance.

But Dortmund may not be able to keep the Norwegian hotshot for much longer. Haaland will reportedly be free to leave next summer when his €75-million release clause becomes active, giving teams a chance to buy him out without negotiating.

Dortmund are apparently resisting bids for Haaland because they don't want to lose more than one star player this summer. The club already allowed Jadon Sancho to join Manchester United in June for €85 million.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is keen to sign Haaland as he looks to increase the Blues' scoring output, according to Stone. Though Chelsea won the Champions League, they ranked ninth in goals among Premier League teams last season.

City, meanwhile, are reportedly monitoring Haaland's situation even as they explore a potential deal for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

Haaland - who joined Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in 2019 for €22.5 million - scored 41 goals in 41 matches across all competitions last season.
