Football world erupts after United, Liverpool suffer epic blowout losses

There won't be another day like it, with Manchester United and Liverpool getting torn to shreds in historic fashion on Sunday.

United and Liverpool made history - they conceded at least six goals each on the same day for the first time, and lost by a combined score of 13-3 to Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, respectively.

Needless today, the football world had plenty to say after witnessing two of England's most successful clubs succumb to embarrassing defeats:

United started the day off with a stunning 6-1 loss to Spurs, who just so happen to have former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho as their manager:

While United legend Gary Neville drowned his sorrows, others took to the street to address the club owners.

Then it was on to Villa Park, where the hosts would pummel Liverpool 7-2 in one of the most surprising results in Premier League history.
