Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount reportedly disobeyed orders to self-isolate after teammate Callum Hudson-Odoi tested positive for the coronavirus.

Chelsea reminded Mount of his responsibilities after he participated in a five-a-side football match despite being told last week to self-quarantine for 14 days, according to BBC Sport's Alistair Magowan.

He was spotted playing alongside Declan Rice, who has not been ordered to self-isolate because West Ham United have yet to experience a confirmed case.

Mount and his Chelsea teammates have been told to self-isolate in accordance with official United Kingdom guidelines, which recommend the measure to those who have possibly been in close contact with someone infected with the virus.

News of the positive test resulted in Chelsea closing part of their training facility for a deep clean.

After Hudson-Odoi confirmed his positive test on Thursday, the Premier League announced the following day it's suspending the season until at least April 4.
