Manchester City will begin their title defense on the road when Pep Guardiola's men take on West Ham, as the Premier League unveiled its fixture list for the 2019-20 campaign.

Champions League titleholders Liverpool will kick off their season at Anfield against newly promoted Norwich City, while runners-up for the European crown, Tottenham, host Aston Villa.

The marquee matchup of the opening weekend will see Chelsea visit Old Trafford to face Manchester United.

Next season's first north London derby between Arsenal and Spurs takes place during the first month of the season at the Emirates on Aug. 31, while the first Manchester derby will be contested at the Etihad Stadium on Dec. 7.

The season, which begins Aug. 9 and ends May 17, will feature a midseason break. There will be a split of matches in February that includes five contests on the weekend of Feb. 8 and the other five during the following weekend. All matchups are currently scheduled for Feb. 8, but they will be split up when television rights holders choose their matches in December.
