Report: Manchester United will listen to offers for Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku could be sacrificed as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to spearhead a summer overhaul at Manchester United.

Inter, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich have been alerted to the Belgian striker's potential availability, according to The Telegraph's James Ducker. Anticipated obstacles for a deal include the Red Devils' desire to recoup the initial £75 million they spent on Lukaku, and his £255,000-a-week wages.

Lukaku, like many in the United squad, appeared rejuvenated when Solskjaer succeeded Jose Mourinho in December. However, the former Chelsea and Everton marksman has since fallen behind Marcus Rashford in the pecking order and has often been ineffective when handed minutes.

Solskjaer has pledged to be ruthless in the upcoming summer transfer window, stating some of his players "need to get a reality check" after the midweek Champions League elimination to Barcelona. Following an 11-match unbeaten run to begin his tenure, United have now suffered five defeats in their last seven competitive outings under the Norwegian.

Lukaku isn't the only big name who might leave. Manchester United will apparently not stand in Alexis Sanchez's way if a suitable offer is tabled for the Chilean but, like Lukaku, a deal could be tough to negotiate. Sanchez is taking home £500,000 each week at Old Trafford, so he would likely have to compromise on his salary if he was to move.

Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Antonio Valencia, Marcos Rojo, and Matteo Darmian are also strong candidates for an exit this summer, while there is uncertainty over the futures of David De Gea and Eric Bailly.
