Everton manager Marco Silva expressed his disappointment on Friday over Jordan Pickford's involvement in a street brawl.

"If you ask me as a manager I am not happy with what happened,” Silva told reporters, according to the Press Association. “Football players have duties and obligations. It is a matter for us to remind him and everything we must do we already did.

"The first chat of the week I was clear with him. Everything is clear in his mind about his obligations. It is my expectation it won’t happen again. No one is happy with the situation, it was not a good thing. The matter is finished in this moment."

The incident occurred earlier Saturday morning when Pickford was captured on video outside of a pub in Sunderland. He allegedly became involved in a fracas outside the bar after someone insulted his fiance.

The Northumbria police opened an investigation in hopes of identifying those involved in the brawl. Everton also announced earlier this week that the team has launched an investigation into the matter.
