Everton announced Monday that the club is looking into an alleged incident involving first-choice shot-stopper Jordan Pickford.

A video surfaced on social media that appears to show Pickford involved in a late-night fracas in Sunderland on Sunday night.

"The club has been made aware of an alleged incident involving one of our players and we are looking into the matter," the club said in a statement, per BBC Sport.

Pickford, 25, was in net for Saturday's 2-0 victory over West Ham at London Stadium. The 17-time capped English international was raised in Sunderland and came through the Black Cats' system before moving to Everton in June 2017 on a £30-million transfer.
