Sergio Aguero was a restless predator against Arsenal on Sunday.

Manchester City's all-time leading scorer dropped deep or roamed wide to curate moves and then - somehow - tended to be on the end of the majority of his team's chances. He fired all three in a 3-1 victory at Etihad Stadium, drawing City to within two points of Premier League leaders Liverpool while padding his already incredible numbers.

Here are the best statistics from Aguero's performance against Arsenal and his season overall:

1 - The 30-year-old is the first City player to be directly involved in 20 league goals this term (14 goals, six assists).

2 - Aguero is the second player in history to reach 10 Premier League hat-tricks, hitting the mark in 227 top-flight outings. Alan Shearer is the only player with more, bagging 11 trebles over 441 appearances.

3 - The Argentinian is now third in the Premier League scoring charts behind Mohamed Salah (16) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (15).

4 - He has scored two or more hat-tricks in four of the past five seasons.

4.5 - Shots per 90 minutes by Aguero. That's more than anyone else with 10 or more Premier League showings in the 2018-19 campaign.

9 - Number of Premier League hat-tricks by Aguero since a Manchester United player pocketed a treble. That was Robin van Persie in April 2013.

14 - Total Manchester City hat-tricks for Aguero across all competitions.

18.75 - Average goals scored by Aguero in each of his past 12 seasons. The last time he didn't reach double figures was the 2006-07 campaign when he was 18 years old.

100 - Percentage of Aguero's efforts against Arsenal that were on target.
