Jadon Sancho's been the breakout star of the Bundesliga this season, leading his value to rise at an astronomical rate.

According to new figures from CIES Football Observatory, the 18-year-old Borussia Dortmund winger's gone from being worth £9.7 million at the start of September to an £87.9-million star in December.

That massive increase is the result of Sancho recording six goals and nine assists in 21 games at the club level this term, along with making his senior England debut.

It would appear Dortmund got an absolute steal when they took the teenager from Manchester City for around £10 million in 2017.

Sancho's soaring valuation tops a list of increases in the latest CIES update. City star Bernardo Silva - one of the Premier League's best players so far this season - is now worth £128.6 million after rising from £98.8 million.

Elsewhere, Liverpool left-back Andrew Robertson climbed from £47.8 million to £79.8 million, Manchester United's Luke Shaw increased by £10 million to £33.7 million since his return from injury, and Juventus full-back Joao Cancelo soared from £27.8 million to £74.2 million.

Kylian Mbappe, already the world's most expensive teenager, reached a valuation of £216.3 million in the study, as his scintillating form for Paris Saint-Germain lifted the figure from £191.2 million.
