Arsenal will warn their players following the release of a video that allegedly shows first-teamers Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette, and Matteo Guendouzi inhaling nitrous oxide.

"The players will be spoken to about this and reminded of their responsibilities as representatives of the club," Arsenal said in a statement, according to AFP.

Several players allegedly inhaled nitrous oxide - also known as laughing gas or hippy crack - from balloons at a west London club in August, according to Alex Terrell and Nick Parker of the Sun.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Shkodran Mustafi apparently did not partake.

The club will also launch an internal investigation into the allegations, according to James Olley of the Evening Standard. Manager Unai Emery was reportedly unaware of the incident, which allegedly took place a week before Arsenal's opening-day defeat to Manchester City.

Nitrous oxide is a legal substance that can be used as an anesthetic but remains illegal to sell for personal use. Risks include increased blood pressure, fainting, and heart attack.

The allegations come as the Gunners attempt to go 21 matches unbeaten across all competitions Saturday against Huddersfield Town.
