Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is willing to test himself in any league in order to secure a permanent move from the club.

"There's no league I'd say no to," the former England No. 1 told BBC Sport's Simon Stone. "I'm open, but I want to do what's right for me at this point of my career and I want to give all of myself to the right cause."

Hart hasn't played for City since August 2016. Since then, he's spent time on loan at Torino and West Ham United, but has failed to replicate the form of earlier in his career. He said he won't consider another loan move from City.

The 31-year-old admitted he made those temporary moves in an ultimately unsuccessful attempt to stay in England contention ahead of this summer's World Cup, but now needs to join a club where he can be a crucial player once more.

"I did what I did in the previous two seasons because I needed to play to be involved in the World Cup ... And look where that got me," he added.

"I need to be an important player ... and I think that can only happen with a permanent move."

Hart is behind Ederson and Claudio Bravo in City's pecking order between the posts, and needs his next move to turn out better than his temporary spells away. City boss Pep Guardiola said this week he wants to "find a solution" for the goalkeeper.
