Quarterbacks have been the early focus of CFL free agency with several big names securing new deals.

Here's how it all went down:

Bo Levi Mitchell (re-signed with Stampeders)

After wrapping up his NFL workout tour with no offers, Mitchell signed a new four-year contract with the Calgary Stampeders. The two-time Grey Cup MVP was the crown jewel of free agency after being named the league's Most Outstanding Player in 2018.

2018 stats:

Games Yards TDs INTs
18 5124 35 14

Mike Reilly (Eskimos ➡️ Lions)

Reilly inked a four-year contract reportedly worth $700,000 annually with the BC Lions, taking him back to the team he began his career with. The 34-year-old spent five memorable seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos and was the CFL's Most Outstanding Player in 2017.

2018 stats:

Games Yards TDs INTs
18 5562 30 18

Trevor Harris (Redblacks ➡️ Eskimos)

The Eskimos responded swiftly to the loss of Reilly by landing former Ottawa Redblacks starter Harris on a two-year deal. The quarterback is coming off a three-year stint in the nation's capital and was a member of the Toronto Argonauts for four years before that.

2018 stats:

Games Yards TDs INTs
17 5116 22 11

Jonathon Jennings (Lions ➡️ Redblacks)

The Redblacks signed the former Lions starter on Wednesday to replace the departed Trevor Harris. Jennings struggled in BC last season to cap an up-and-down career with the Lions.

2018 stats:

Games Yards TDs INTs
10 1628 8 7

Zach Collaros (re-signed with Roughriders)

Collaros started 14 games for the Roughriders after they traded for him in January 2018. The 30-year-old led Saskatchewan to 10 wins, though his numbers were underwhelming.

2018 stats:

Games Yards TDs INTs
14 2999 9 13

Notable free-agent QBs remaining:

  • Ricky Ray (Argonauts)
  • Travis Lulay (Lions)
  • Brandon Bridge (Roughriders)
