It appears the Hamilton Tiger-Cats are happy with the job June Jones did as interim head coach, as sources told TSN's Dave Naylor that the club will name the 64-year-old as the full-time boss as early as next week.

Jones joined the club as an assistant coach on Aug. 2nd when it sat a dismal 0-5 on the season. He was offered the interim gig after Kent Austin stepped aside with the team holding an 0-8 record. Jones would finish the campaign 6-4 as head coach, a significant improvement from the start of the year.

Prior to joining the Tiger-Cats, Jones gained national acclaim for his high-powered offenses in college at SMU and Hawaii. He also had a stint in the NFL as Atlanta Falcons head coach from 1994-96.
