Report: Promotion offers Tyson $1M to fight Juiseppe Angelo Cusumano

A New England-based promotional company has publicly offered $1 million, a percentage of a closed circuit, and $200,000 to a Mike Tyson-approved charity for the boxing legend to fight journeyman heavyweight Juiseppe Angelo Cusumano, according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated.

Tyson, 53, teased a big-name opponent earlier this week while discussing his potential comeback, which he would use to generate money for a charity. The former champion has openly expressed a desire to fight longtime heavyweight rival Evander Holyfield.

The 32-year-old Cusumano (18-3, 16 KOs) isn't a household name like Holyfield. However, the Italian boxer is 21 years younger than Tyson.

Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) retired from professional boxing in 2006. He holds the record as the youngest fighter to win a heavyweight title at 20 years, four months, and 22 days old.
