The Nevada State Athletic Commission approved four events to be staged in Las Vegas over the next several weeks, including two Top Rank shows on June 9 and 11, according to Keith Idec of Boxing Scene.

The events, which will take place without fans at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, were approved in a unanimous vote by the NSAC during a conference call Wednesday.

"I’ve been working with the executives from Top Rank," NSAC executive director Bob Bennett said during the meeting. "I've reviewed their operations plan. They're still in the process of completing it. It's very comprehensive. We're moving in the right direction. I'm pleased to see that we are all working in concert with a closed-system event, and I expect it to be very successful."

The June 9 event will be the first live boxing card in the United States since the coronavirus outbreak.

The main event is reportedly set to feature WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson against Felix Caraballo in a 10-round non-title fight.

On June 11, Jessie Magdaleno is expected to square off against Yenifel Vicente in the main event, a 10-round match.

Both of the Top Rank cards are expected to be announced by next week.
