Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller's application for a fight license was denied by the New York State Athletic Commission after the heavyweight contender tested positive for a banned performance-enhancing substance.

The NYSAC confirmed the denied license in a statement obtained by Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times.

A random urine sample Miller submitted March 20 tested positive for GW1516, a substance hailed for improving cardiovascular performance.

Miller was scheduled to face Anthony Joshua on June 1 at Madison Square Garden. Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, is now eyeing a new opponent for the three-belt champ, according to Pugmire.
