While early pay-per-view estimates have the Dec. 1 heavyweight bout between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder at more than 300,000 buys, millions of others streamed the fight illegally.

Digital piracy specialist Muso reported that Saturday's fight attracted a global piracy audience of 9.98 million, according to John Glenday of The Drum. Muso said the fight was available on at least 133 piracy streaming domains and 80 YouTube live links.

American fans paid $74.99 to watch the fight on Showtime, while viewers in the UK were charged £19.85 by BT Sport.

Despite the illegal streams, the official number of pay-per-view buys is expected to be around 320,000, putting it well over the break-even point of 250,000, according to Mike Coppinger of The Ring.
