The men of Canada 3 were making good time on the Sochi track Saturday when their sled flipped at the corner and carried the men sideways down the final leg of the course at more than 90 km/hour.

The sled crossed the finish line, meaning the four athletes are still able to race the final runs on Sunday if they're healthy enough.

They were all able to walk away from the sled after the devastating incident. The crowd on hand at Sanki Sliding Center applauded loudly and chanted "Canada!".

Carly Agro of CBC reports the men are all okay and were taken to see a team doctor off-site.
