The moment you've been waiting for: Olympic slopestyle knitter revealed
We now know the identity of the mystery knitter at the top of the snowboard slopestyle course on Saturday. It is Finnish coach Antti Koskinen, according to the Wall Street Journal, and he is making a very important scarf.
"I think that it looks really weird, so it's kind of funny," snowboarder Roope Tonteri said of his coach, who he also mentioned was slow at knitting. "Everybody just thinks, 'What's he doing?'"
The scarf is for Finland's Summer Olympic team...who is, you know, going to Brazil. Scarf weather.
