Juan Guillermo Cuadrado renews contract at Fiorentina until 2019

The best dreadlocks in European football aren't going anywhere as Juan Guillermo Cuadrado put pen to paper on a contract extension Friday that will keep him with Fiorentina until 2019.

Cuadrado's new deal will come as disheartening news to supporters of Manchester United, who have been endlessly linked with the right winger since he helped guide Colombia to the quarterfinals of the World Cup.

Through five Serie A appearances this season, Cuadrado has netted one goal and holds an impressive pass success percentage of 84.7. He also appears to be developing into more of an attacking role as his shots per game count is up to 3.2 from last season's three, which was up from 1.9 the campaign prior.

Upon signing his new deal with Fiorentina, Cuadrado uploaded the following statement to Twitter:
