The 28-year-old AS Roma midfielder scored what might be his team's best goal of the season Thursday, beating Viktoria Plzen goalkeeper Matius Kozacik with an inch-perfect rabona shot at the edge of the box.
The 82nd-minute effort gave Roma its third goal in an eventual 4-1 win and helped secure qualification into the Europa League knockout stage.
They don't come much sweeter than that.
