Tiger in 3-way tie for 2nd heading into final of Wyndham Championship

Despite a bad break and a bogey on the 18th hole, Tiger is still alive and well.

Tiger Woods posted a two-under 68 in the third round of of the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, N.C., Saturday, but his putt for par on 18 lipped out, forcing him into a three-way tie for second place heading into Sunday's final round.

Woods came into the tournament needing a top-two finish in order to qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs. One week ago, he missed the cut at the PGA Championship.

Woods finished Saturday at minus-13 overall, tied with Jonas Blixt and Scott Brown, two strokes behind leader Jason Gore. His third round was the worst of his three at Greensboro, firing a 68 after a 64 and 65 in rounds 1 and 2, respectively.

Woods hasn't won a tournament in more than two years.
