AUGUSTA, Ga. - Tiger Woods took to Augusta National on Tuesday, playing 18 holes, his agent confirmed, but his status for next week's Masters remains undecided.

"Tiger is clearly working hard and he will advise as to when he is ready to play competitively," Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, said in an email.

Woods played the course with two Augusta members and his caddie, Joe LaCava.

Earlier Tuesday, The Augusta Chronicle reported that a plane matching the tail number of Woods' Gulfstream G5 was parked at the terminal for private aircraft at Augusta Regional Airport.

Woods has not played since he withdrew at Torrey Pines in the first round on Feb. 5. He said a week later that his scores were not acceptable and that he wouldn't return until his game was tournament ready.

Woods has fallen out of the top 100 in the world for the first time since 1996. The Masters starts April 9.

As an invited player, Woods doesn't have to commit to next week's tournament. He missed last year's Masters, and last won at Augusta in 2005.
