Sidney Crosby picked an opportune time to keep his point streak alive and hit a career benchmark.

Crosby had a hand in two late goals, then assisted on the game-winner in overtime as the Pittsburgh Penguins rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat the Florida Panthers 3-2 on Saturday night.

The Penguins captain found defenseman Kris Letang on the power play less than 90 seconds into the extra frame for the winner.

Crosby has recorded at least a point in 10 consecutive games, and now has 902 points in his career.

His first assist was his 900th career point, and he became the 10th-fastest in league history to reach that milestone.

Crosby also joined some impressive company in Penguins franchise history.

The Penguins snapped the Panthers' five-game win streak and earned a victory for the sixth time in their last eight contests.
