Darnell Nurse's parents support him in almost every facet of life, including fighting.

The Edmonton Oilers rookie collected nine minutes worth of penalties in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Ottawa Senators, including a five-minute major for fighting.

That didn't discourage his parents, though, as video shows his mother, Cathy, and father, Richard, were very much in support of their son partaking in fisticuffs.

Richard appears to yell "beat his ass," which is precisely what Nurse did to Senators forward Max McCormick.
