GIF: Panthers' MacKenzie nails referee with big hit behind Flyers' net

Florida Panthers forward Derek MacKenzie made his presence felt early in Monday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers, accidentally taking out one of the officials with a crushing hit.

MacKenzie was chasing the puck as it caromed behind the Flyers' net when he leveled referee Brad Watson:

Watson regained his footing immediately and was presumably unharmed by the hit.
