Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien wasn't about to let an opportunity to inflict punishment pass him by.

With Casey Cizikas sliding on both knees toward the end boards in Monday's matinee versus the New York Islanders, Byfuglien followed him from behind and delivered a nasty elbow to the head of his fallen opponent.

Byfuglien was assessed a two-minute minor penalty on the play.
