Devin Setoguchi is headed to Switzerland.

The veteran NHL forward signed with HC Davos of the Swiss National League A on Tuesday after being released from his professional tryout contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs last week.

Setoguchi signed the tryout in August and admitted he checked into a rehab facility last spring.

The 28-year-old winger was held pointless in 12 games with the Calgary Flames in 2014-15, but he scored three goals and added seven assists in 19 games with Calgary's AHL affiliate, the Adirondack Flames.

The eighth overall pick in 2005, Setoguchi scored 31 goals for the San Jose Sharks in 2008-09. He played eight NHL seasons split between the Sharks, Minnesota Wild, Winnipeg Jets, and Flames.
