Red Wings assign Mantha, 10 others to AHL

The Detroit Red Wings have sent prospect Anthony Mantha and 10 other players to the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins.

Mantha scored 15 goals and added 18 assists in 62 games with the Griffins last season. He scored 57 goals and racked up 120 points in his final junior campaign with the QMJHL's Val d'Or Foreurs in 2013-14.

The Red Wings selected the forward 20th overall in 2013.
