Lightning's Johnson suffers undisclosed injury in final preseason game

Kim Klement / USA TODAY Sports

Tyler Johnson may not be entering the season without an injury after all.

The scoring Tampa Bay Lightning center exited Saturday's preseason contest versus the Florida Panthers after suffering an undisclosed injury, and didn't return.

Johnson's wrist was a subject of concern throughout the summer and into training camp after he injured it during last season's run to the Stanley Cup Final.

His 23 goals and 43 helpers were the most points scored on a per-game basis last season for the Bolts.
