Daniel Cleary and the Detroit Red Wings have renewed their pact.

The club has re-signed the veteran to a one-year contract, general manager Ken Holland announced Friday.

Cleary, 36, is coming off a pair of one-year deals with the Red Wings. He appeared in 17 of Detroit's games in 2014-15, recording a goal, an assist, and six penalty minutes.

He's been with the club since 2005-06, amassing 124 goals and 265 points in 609 regular-season games, and helping Detroit win a Stanley Cup in 2008.
