Flames' Treliving on obstacles in Ferland talks: 'Just money and term'

Two rather important things are holding up a potential agreement between the Calgary Flames and restricted free-agent forward Micheal Ferland.

"Just money and term, that's all," general manager Brad Treliving told Randy Sportak of the Calgary Sun. "We'll bang away. We haven't been able to find something that both sides nod on yet, but we've still got some time."

The two sides were reportedly inching closer to a deal last month.

Ferland is the Flames' lone remaining free agent. The 23-year-old posted five points in 26 regular-season games and added five points in nine playoff contests.
