The Arizona Coyotes signed Dylan Strome to an entry-level deal Monday.

The Coyotes selected Strome third-overall at the 2015 Draft, making him the highest selection beyond Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel. Strome led the Ontario Hockey League in scoring last season with the Erie Otters, recording 129 points in 68 games.

"We are very pleased to sign Dylan to an entry-level contract," Coyotes general manager Don Maloney said in a statement. "Dylan is a very talented player and all he's done his entire career is lead his teams and leagues in scoring and win championships. He will be an important player for us in the future and a key building block for this franchise."

Strome joins an exciting stable of forward prospects in Arizona, including Canadian world junior team members Max Domi and Anthony Duclair.
