The Boston Bruins have signed free-agent forward Matt Beleskey to a five-year, $19-million contract, the club announced Wednesday.

He will earn $3.8 million per season, taking perhaps a little less than what was on the table, and has a full no-move clause in the first two seasons, Darren Dreger of TSN notes.

Beleskey scored 22 of his 57 career NHL goals in his breakout season with the Anaheim Ducks.

To facilitate the deal, Boston packaged forward Reilly Smith and Marc Savard's contract to the Florida Panthers, in return receiving forward Jimmy Hayes.

Beleskey adds to the Bruins' offseason overhaul, which included parting with Dougie Hamilton, Milan Lucic, and Carl Soderberg, while acquiring a glut of draft picks.
