John Moore signs 3-year, $5M contract with Devils

The New Jersey Devils have signed defenseman John Moore to a three-year contract with an annual average value of $1,666,667.

Moore, 24, played in 57 games split between the New York Rangers and Arizona Coyotes last season, earning 11 points.

He was part of the Keith Yandle trade between the two clubs last March.

The 2015 World Championship bronze medalist joins a blue-line corps that includes Andy Greene, Jon Merrill and Damon Severson, with restricted free agents Adam Larsson and Eric Gelinas expected to return.
