Blackhawks' Vermette, Teravainen back in lineup for Game 4 vs. Ducks

Change is afoot for the Chicago Blackhawks.

Antoine Vermette and Teuvo Teravainen - both of whom sat out a Game 3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks as healthy scratches - took part in Saturday's morning skate and will be in the lineup for a must-win match on home ice.

The pair skated together on the third line with Patrick Sharp during the morning skate.

Head coach Joel Quenneville believes the line can be effective, allowing him to roll out four lines on a consistent basis.

"There are some good stretches (for the third line) there in Game 2," Quenneville said. "I think that line can be a factor offensively. I think defensively they've been reliable in stretches, as well. Just some pace and energy across the board. That four-line rotation that we felt was best in Game 2 is what we're looking for."

Vermette and Teravainen have appeared in 10 and eight of Chicago's 13 playoff games, chipping in two and three points, respectively. Vermette, of course, was acquired prior to the trade deadline for a prospect and a first-round pick, while Teravainen is viewed as one of the most talented young players in the organization.

The Blackhawks dropped Game 3 by a score of 2-1, and can ill afford to head back to California facing a 3-1 series deficit.
