Pekka Rinne is spending his offseason setting international records.

The Nashville Predators goalie, representing his native Finland at the World Championship in the Czech Republic, set an IIHF record during Monday's game against Belarus.

Through 20 minutes of play, Rinne ran his personal shutout streak at the tournament to 207 minutes, passing Slovak goalie Jan Lasak for the longest shutout streak in World Championship history.

Rinne had already teamed up with Juuse Saros to set the team shutout record after keeping Slovakia off Saturday's score sheet.

Belarus scored later in the contest, ending the streak at 237 minutes of play.
