Despite not being playoff bound, the Colorado Avalanche boast an abundance of young talent to build around moving forward.
Case in point: 24-year-old Matt Duchene, who displayed an impressive arsenal of speed and skill on this breakaway goal on John Gibson and the Anaheim Ducks on Friday.

The goal was Duchene's 21st and third in four games, giving him a fighting chance at matching or eclipsing his career high of 24 set as a rookie in 2009-10.
