The Pittsburgh Penguins were without forward Evgeni Malkin in their contest against the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday.

After the game, Penguins head coach Mike Johnston told Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer that Malkin had a slight undisclosed injury and is scheduled to miss two to four days.

The Penguins played short against the Flyers with 19 skaters; five defensemen, 12 forwards and two goalies.

Malkin missed six games with an undisclosed injury in March.
