The San Jose Sharks will be without two pieces of their blue line for the next little while.
Defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic will miss Wednesday's game against the Colorado Avalanche, while Mirco Mueller will likely be sidelined for the rest of the season according to head coach Todd McLellan.
Vlasic has missed the team's last two games after sustaining a lower-body injury in a game against the Philadelphia Flyers and is listed as day-to-day.
Meanwhile Mueller has been out since Thursday after blocking a shot against the Detroit Red Wings.
In 70 games, Vlasic has nine goals and 23 points while Mueller has one goal and four points in 39 games.
