VIDEO: Capitals' Holtby stretches across crease for stick save vs. Rangers

Braden Holtby was at his best Sunday after being pulled early in his last start.

Holtby made 23 saves in his 19th straight appearance for the Washington Capitals as part of Sunday's 5-2 victory, bouncing back from allowing three goals on 13 shots in the first period of Saturday's loss to the Nashville Predators.

Holtby made a highlight-reel save on New York Rangers forward Kevin Hayes on Sunday during a power play in the first period. Hayes received a cross-ice pass with an open net in front of him, but Holtby reached across to bat the puck away with his stick.
