Even when their own fans want them to tank, the Toronto Maple Leafs refuse to lose.

Eric Brewer scored the winner in overtime as the Leafs scratched out a 4-3 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night at the Air Canada Centre.

The Leafs snapped a seven-game losing streak and earned their first win since the club's 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on March 11.

Tyler Bozak scored a pair of goals in the second period and picked up an assist on Phil Kessel's marker that tied the game with 1:24 remaining. The goal was later credited to Bozak, giving him a hat trick.

Toronto dealt a big blow to the Senators, who are now on the outside of the Eastern Conference wild card race thanks to the Boston Bruins' 4-2 win over the New York Rangers on Saturday afternoon.

The Senators and Maple Leafs face off again on April 5 in Ottawa.
