If Ilya Kovalchuk is thinking about making a return to the NHL, he's not making a good impression.
The forward, who is rumored to be interested in a return to North America despite his mother denying the news, took out some frustration on Alexander Radulov, slashing the forward on Thursday in a first round matchup of the KHL playoffs.
Kovalchuk's SKA squad was defeated by Radulov's CSKA 3-0 in Game 1 of the playoff match-up.
Radulov scored the first goal of the contest, which turned out to be the game winner.
