Cam Ward was at his acrobatic best in the opening period of Thursday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Carolina Hurricanes netminder wasn't expecting Penguins captain Sidney Crosby to send a pass to David Perron near the side of the net, but he reacted in time to get his glove on Perron's well-placed shot and preserve Carolina's advantage.
