The New York Islanders have reportedly acquired Tyler Kennedy from the San Jose Sharks for a conditional third-round pick in 2016, the team confirmed.
A multitude of injuries have limited Kennedy to just 25 games in his second season with the Sharks.
Kennedy has four goals, nine points and 37 hits in his limited appearances this season and 27 points in 76 career postseason games.
