He had a partial no-trade clause, but Anaheim was on his list of teams to which he would approve a deal, reports ESPN's Pierre LeBrun.

Heatley, 34, was held pointless in six contests with the Ducks. He registered two goals and five assists in 25 games with Anaheim's AHL affiliate in Norfolk.

He's expected to report to the Panthers' affiliate in San Antonio.

Fleischmann played for Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau with the Washington Capitals from 2007-2011 and with the AHL's Hershey Bears from 2005-2007.
