The Ottawa Senators brought a ringer to Southern California, and are leaving unblemished.
Andrew Hammond secured clean sheets in consecutive nights, making 35 saves Thursday in 1-0 victory over the Los Angeles Kings, extending his personal shutout streak to 172 minutes and snapping L.A.'s eight-game winning streak.
Coupled with a triumph over the Anaheim Ducks the night prior, the Senators have collected all four points to start their critical five-game west coast road trip.
Hammond is now 4-0 as a starter in the NHL after being called up last week.
